COSMETIC DENTISTRY

 Do you like your smile?  Most of us can pick out a few things we wished were different.  Often slight changes in the color, shape or alignment of the teeth can dramatically improve a person’s appearance and self-confidence.  However, many patients are hesitant to make any “permanent” changes without knowing what the outcome will be.

 At Riverfront Dental, we offer two options that allow our patients to see how their smile will appear if they decide to cosmetically improve their teeth. The first option is COSMETIC IMAGING. In this process we make the changes that you want on a digital photo of your smile. The photos below are a sample of what we can do with cosmetic imaging.     

The second option is to make the actual cosmetic improvements on the teeth with a temporary tooth colored filling material. Once we are happy with the appearance, digital photos are taken of the improvements and the filling material is removed. Unfortunately this procedure is usually not effective if the teeth are too far out of alignment.

 We have found that when our patients know how their smile will look, it becomes easier to decide if cosmetic dentistry is right for them.
