Dr. Thomas Dugan

Dr. Dugan was born in Pullman, Washington and raised in northern Idaho on the beautiful Snake River. After graduating from the University of Idaho, he continued his studies at the Oregon State University school of Pharmacy and Oregon Health & Sciences University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1979

Dr. Dugan started his family oriented practice in Salem in 1980. His primary focus has always been to provide high quality dental care while making sure his patients are as comfortable as possible. It gives him great pride that many of the patients he saw as children are now bringing in their children for dental care.

Dr. Dugan has additional training in Full Mouth Reconstruction and the use of dental appliances in the treatment of Migraine and Tension Headaches.

Full Mouth Reconstruction involves everything from simple cosmetic dental treatment to completely restoring all the teeth in a severely damaged dentition.

Dr. Dugan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Marion-Polk Dental Society.

Dr. Scott Howe

Dr. Howe was born and raised in Salem, Oregon, where he also received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from Willamette University. Following Graduation and a short career in a hospital laboratory at Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Howe attended OHSU School of Dentistry to earn his D.M.D. degree. Dr. Howe in now very excited to be part of the same practice in which he has been a long-time patient, working along-side his own dentist and mentor, Dr. Thomas Dugan.

As a General Dentist, Dr. Howe enjoys building long-term relationships with people and being able to create and work with his hands. The field of dentistry is one of constant change and improvement, and Dr. Howe appreciates the challenge of learning about new materials and techniques to better serve his patients. He is active within his professional community through memberships in the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and the Marion-Polk Dental Society.

Dr. Howe is married with two beautiful daughters.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Howe enjoys basketball, golf and sports in general, although, top priority of his time goes to his daughters, which mainly involves art projects and coloring. He's pretty good with a crayon, too!
